This initiative was born from the memories of those who spent afternoons talking with Eduardo in his office.

As the plaque at the entrance of Eduardo's office reads, everyone was always warmly welcomed in that home. With that spirit, many hours were spent in conversations with Eduardo on any topic, where Christ always became the central figure.

From the memory of those wonderful afternoons comes the idea of creating a format that helps us learn more about Eduardo Bonnín and his work.

Over the course of eight afternoons, small groups gather in a friendly atmosphere to discover Eduardo’s mindset and personality alongside his personal friends, in a unique and meaningful way.

«Afternoons with Eduardo» consists of two parts. The first includes the screening of a video from the gathering that Eduardo envisioned, where over two days, he delivered eight talks, symbolically passing on his knowledge of the Cursillos de Cristiandad to all cursillistas worldwide.

These talks are as follows:

• Essence and purpose.
• Mindset.
• Norms and criteria.
• Details to consider.
• My idea and my feelings.
• Structuring of ideas.
• The three-day Cursillo.
• History.

In the second part of each session, one or two of Eduardo’s close friends share anecdotes, memories, and personal experiences with him moments that now hold a privileged place in their hearts and in the course of their lives.

«Afternoons with Eduardo» is not only meant to be a one-time enriching experience but also a starting point for personal and spiritual growth, filling our hearts with joy as we recognize that the Lord loves us.
