>Foundational Charism. Korea 1997
>Process of what happened from the beginning
When we first started defining the idea of Eduardo Bonnín Aguiló Week, we thought about the format, the timing, and most importantly, how to convey to you all the strength and authenticity of the message within Eduardo's mentality, which is reflected in all his work. It was a new model that emerged from necessity and the circumstances surrounding us. But what we could never have anticipated was everything we have received from you. Each and every message you have sent us, in one way or another, encourages us to keep working and to continue with the same enthusiasm that you have inspired in us these past few days. It has been an overwhelming outpouring of affection and warmth that we receive with emotion, knowing that the recipients are, on one hand, the memory of our dearly beloved Eduardo, and as it must always be with anything done for this purpose, a living, normal, and close Christ who always ends up being a friend.
The Eduardo Bonnín Aguiló Foundation spares no time or effort to ensure that Eduardo's entire intellectual legacy is preserved exactly as he left it, so that it can reach every corner of the world intact. As he himself said in the Charism talk he gave in Korea in 1997: "The minimum organization needed should be at the service of what is simply understood as common sense, and should serve to streamline things by clarifying them at the pace required by the message, protecting it from improvised strokes of genius and misguided updates." With this commitment to remaining faithful to the words of our friend and the message of Christ, we continue taking steps—small ones at times, but we hope they are steady and sure.
All the material we have shared with you these past days, and much more, can be found on our website, www.feba.info, which has recently been updated. It is not perfect, nor is it by any means complete. On one hand, we have a vast amount of documentation to review, catalog, and prepare before publishing it. Additionally, our resources are limited, although they reach us generously. This new website is filled with content that will continue to grow as we make more material available. For example, along with everything we have sent you, you will find the articles "Simplicity and Cursillos," "The Ultreya," and "Process of What Happened from the Beginning," which were previously unpublished but are now available alongside other existing content starting this week. We will periodically suggest new content and notify you of the latest updates. The reverse process is just as important—receiving contributions from you that could help us, such as materials that document Eduardo's visits around the world (photos, press articles, audio recordings, videos, etc.). We have a vast archive, but we know that in your hands, too, there are countless fragments of his life and thought, which he shared across the world on his numerous journeys.
Finally, since many of you have asked for a way to stay in touch with the Foundation via WhatsApp, we are giving you the opportunity to send us a message requesting to join a new broadcast list: "Eduardo Bonnín Aguiló Foundation Communications." It has been a pleasure to share this beautiful and heartfelt week with you. Through it, we have tried to bring you the thoughts of the founder of the Cursillos in Christianity movement, the one who received its Charism by the grace of the Holy Spirit, and above all, a friend of Christ and of all people.
